Elica Group Unveils New Luxury Power Catamaran Brand: Omaya Yachts
Introducing the OMAYA 50: A New Standard in Spacious and Luxurious Catamaran Design?
Elica Group, the well-known Bulgarian family-owned business, has just announced the launch of its luxury power catamaran brand, Omaya Yachts. Their first model, the OMAYA 50, is set to hit the water this summer, with 62ft and 80ft versions also in the pipeline.
Elica Yard: A Hub of Innovation
With 30 years of manufacturing experience under their belt, Elica Group has always prided itself on quality and transparency. Their next step in corporate evolution is Elica Yard, located on the banks of the Danube. This facility is set to become a leader in the production of luxury power catamarans for both private owners and the charter market.
Kaloyan Radulov, co-founder and CEO of Omaya Yachts and Elica Yard, shared his excitement about this new venture: “Being on the water has always been a passion of our family and runs deep in our DNA. It was a natural progression for Elica Group to develop a range of serial-production yachts with the aim of building the very best power catamarans. We’re confident the OMAYA 50 will turn heads and are excited to introduce her to the world.”
Cutting-Edge Facilities
Elica Yard has undergone significant investment, enhancing its 15,000 sqm facilities and modernising operations to integrate cutting-edge technologies. These advancements have streamlined the shipbuilding process, reduced costs, and ensured high-quality vessel production.
Meet the OMAYA 50
The OMAYA 50 is a 50ft luxury catamaran featuring a best-in-class beam of 8.4 metres. This wide beam translates to ample space on the lower deck and in the cabins, as well as a generous saloon living area. The bow layout is designed to create comfortable social spaces, perfect for lazy days in the sun. With large sunbeds, ample seating areas, and open deck space, the OMAYA 50 is built for socialising and entertaining, making it suitable for long-term living aboard, not just holidays.
The lower deck of the OMAYA 50 comes in two configurations. The owner version includes a spacious master cabin spanning the entire port side, equipped with a double bed, sofa, desk, vanity area, integrated wardrobe, and a large ensuite with double basins and a full standing shower. The starboard side houses two double guest cabins with ensuite bathrooms, plus an additional crew cabin.
What's Next for Omaya Yachts?
Elica Group’s foray into the luxury power catamaran market is an exciting development.
