When you think of explorer yachts, your mind probably drifts towards rugged, no-nonsense vessels designed to tackle the harshest seas. Polestar, however, breaks that mould. Built by Rossinavi in 2021, this 70-metre yacht combines luxury and performance in a way that few vessels can match. While she's undoubtedly ready for long-range adventures, the real magic lies in the thought that's gone into her design, tech, and entertainment features.

Engineering a Smooth Ride

Let's start with the basics—what makes Polestar tick? Her top speed is 17 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots. While these numbers might not scream record-breaking, they do suggest reliability and smooth sailing, even in rougher waters. The reason behind this isn't just her size or horsepower but her well-thought-out hull design and stabilisation systems that allow her to glide through the water efficiently. This makes a huge difference when you're spending weeks at sea, ensuring that the motion is gentle enough for all onboard, from seasoned sailors to first-timers.

At 12.7 metres wide, Polestar has a substantial beam, providing excellent stability and more than enough space to fit in the kind of luxurious amenities you'd expect. It's not just about comfort, though. That extra width allows her to take on longer journeys with a sense of ease, making her a true explorer.

A Floating Toy Box

You don't build a 70-metre yacht for adventure without filling it with gadgets and toys to make the most of your surroundings. Polestar is no exception. What really sets her apart is the sheer range of toys available onboard. For starters, she carries not one, but five jet skis—including a pair of high-powered Sea-Doo GTR 230s and the nimbler Sea-Doo Sparks. Then there's the Yamaha Superjet, a stand-up model for those who want a bit more of a thrill ride.

For those preferring a bit of under-the-surface fun, Polestar has four Seabobs onboard. These nifty little devices let you zoom through the water, above and below the surface, giving you a dolphin-like sense of freedom. But if you're feeling a bit more futuristic, try your hand at the e-foil Flite Board—a surfboard with an electric hydrofoil allowing you to glide above the water. You can add a petrol-powered jet surfboard to the mix, too, if you'd rather keep things fast and furious.

Then there's the flyboard. For those unfamiliar, this is the one where you strap in and shoot into the air powered by a water jet beneath your feet. It's as crazy as it sounds and always a crowd-pleaser. If you prefer more traditional water sports, there are wakeboards, water skis, and a selection of inflatables for the young (and young at heart).

When the water-based action gets a bit too much, Polestar doesn't leave you high and dry. She's also stocked with electric scooters and Gocycle electric bikes—perfect for land-based exploration. Whether you're zipping through Mediterranean coastal towns or exploring Caribbean islands, you'll be able to do it in style. And let's not forget the full beach set-up, complete with a luxury pool and BBQ for when you want to kick back and enjoy your private slice of paradise.

Life Onboard

Inside Polestar, things get even more impressive. There are six staterooms onboard, comfortably accommodating 12 guests. The master suite is where things really shine, though, offering a vast space for relaxing after a day spent diving, jet-skiing, or exploring the coastline. The interior design is modern, sleek, and minimal—exactly what you want on a yacht designed for adventure.

It's not all about aesthetics, though. Every corner of the yacht is designed with practical luxury in mind. There's a fully equipped gym to keep up your fitness routine and a sauna to help you relax afterwards. For those lazy afternoons, the yacht's outdoor Jacuzzi lounge area is the perfect spot to unwind with a drink in hand while the world drifts by.

Polestar in Action

Whether you're cruising the Mediterranean or exploring hidden Caribbean bays, Polestar gives you the tools to do it in comfort and style. Her impressive range makes her ideal for long-distance voyages, but she's just as at home anchored in your favourite secluded spot. The Rossinavi custom limo tender is another gem worth mentioning. At 10 metres long, it's a miniature yacht in its own right, easily whisking you ashore or between anchorages.

Available for Charter

And here's the kicker—Polestar isn't just a dream to admire from afar. She's available for charter, meaning you can experience all of this first-hand. Whether you're planning a Mediterranean summer escape or a winter adventure in the Caribbean, Polestar offers it all. Charter rates start from €720,000 per week in the summer and $720,000 per week in the winter, climbing to €820,000 and $820,000 during peak weeks.
